As a student project, I illustrated a twelve-panel storyboard to serve as the sequence for the film's opening title. It features a unique perspective of a postcard drifting away, transitioning to various significant settings and characters in the movie with subtle Easter eggs. The color palette is limited to blues and reds, and textures are added to replicate a vintage print style.

Explore the intricate details and textures in this scene where Osono is hard at work in her bakery, surrounded by an array of delectable treats. Notice the whimsical bread wreath in the storefront window, adorned with images of Kiki and Jiji.
Postcards
Staying true to the theme, the illustrations were applied onto postcards. Additionally, there’s a the stamp design created that features the clock tower in the film.
